I’m a rather boring young person: I don’t particularly enjoy night clubs, I don’t smoke, drink or do drugs and I don’t like to party every weekend. I like to workout, spend time with family and friends, play with my dog and travel. Yes, yes, I know… Boring! 😀
So my birthday party was also a small intimate get-together with my closest family. And this year I made the same decision as last year (when I had just started LCHF): all low carb for me with some extras for everyone else.
So this is what I had on my birthday lunch table:

boilt veggies: cauliflower, broccoli, carrot

cream sauce with cheese (no flour!)

oven cooked salmon
-
blue and Saaremaa’s Kadaka cheese

good quality smoked sausage
-
cabbage and cheese salad with mayo and sour cream dressing

butter
-
boilt potatoes for everyone else
-
bread for everyone else
-
LCHF pumpkin cheesecake with dark chocolate (recipe is coming, I promise!)
-
water
-
coffee and tea
Everything tasted great. I also had other LCHF snacks and stuff on mind but I decided to only make these foods and not overeat. Good decision 🙂
Why should have I went off my normal wonderful tasting LCHF for MY birthday? My birthday, my choices! 🙂
